Věřím, že někteří z vás, kteří tento blog čtete, přemýšlíte o tom, že byste taky někam vyrazili. Přeju vám samozřejmě hodně štěstí, ale budete toho potřebovat mnohem víc než jen to. Proto bude součástí blogu série příspěvků „Rady a tipy“, pomocí kterých se pokusím vaše přání vycestovat alespoň trochu podpořit.
Není to pokaždé snadné (kdo jiný by o tom mohl vědět víc než já :) ), ale na druhou stranu to ani není nemožné. Takže se pohodlně posaďte a poslouchejte (čtěte):
Co vás čeká a nemine je vyplňování údajů v rotariánské databázi RYEDB (význam zkratky je pravděpoobně Rotary Youth Exchange Database). Každý, kdo už to někdy vyplňoval, vám potvrdí, že je to opravdu ďábelský vynález. Ano, jisté usnadnění administrativy to je, ovšem nikde se nepíše, že pouze pro Rotary, v žádném případě ne pro vás. Co už s tím, musíte to zvládnout. Řekl bych k tomu, že je to takový test inteligence - takže pokud jste génius a máte nervy ze železa, můžete být v klidu. Pokud ne, asi vám to dá trochu zabrat.
Součástí databáze je sekce RI. - Read Instructions. Drobný zádrhel je v tom, že popis se moc neshoduje (nebo alespoň neshodoval) s realitou, takže do této sekce vůbec nemusíte lozit. Ze začátku pro vás budou důležité pouze sekce D (Documents and calendar), kde jsou všechny možné i nemožné soubory ke stažení a přečtení (pravidla, některé formuláře, přihláška,...) a sekce O. (Update details). Proč zkratka „O“? Celkem jednoduše - berte v potaz, že RYEDB je většinou v angličtině a při vyplňování této sekce si stále dokola budete říkat „OMG co to je???“.
Pokud to zvládnete, otevře se před vámi úžasná možnost - možnost dál se ucházet o místo na výměně.

Anyone who has ever filled confirms that it's really diabolical invention. Yes, a certain ease of administration it is, however, nobody says that only for Rotary, in any case not for you. Unfortunately, the fact is that you have to do it. I would say that this is such an intelligence test - so if you're a genius and you have nerves of steel, you don´t have to be afraid. If not, it will probably be a little confusing for you.
Part of the database is the section RI. - Read Instructions. The small snag is that the description does not match the power (or at least did not coincide) with reality, so in this section do not have to wander at all. In the beginning, an only important section for you will be section D (Documents and calendar), where all the possible and impossible downloads and readings (rules, certain forms, application, ...) are, and section O (Update details). Why acronym "O"? Quite simply - RYEDB is mostly in English and during completing this section you´ll, again and again, say "OMG what is it???".
If you can achieve it, in front of you, it opens a wonderful opportunity - opportunity to continue to apply for a place on the exchange.

Lo que necesitas hacer en primer lugar es ingresar tus datos en una base de datos de Rotario RYEDB (lo que significa Base de Datos del Intercambio de Jóvenes Rotario). Cualquiera que haya completado la base, es una invención diabólica. Sí, es una facilidad para la administración, sin embargo, nadie dice que es solo para Rotario, en cualquier caso no es para usted. Desafortunadamente, el punto es que tú tienes que hacerlo. Yo diría que esta es una prueba de inteligencia – si tú eres un genio y tienes nervios de acero, no deberías de estar preocupado. Si no es así, probablemente será un poco confuso para ti.
Parte de la Base de datos es la sección RI. - Read Instructions (Lea la Instrucciones). El pequeño obstáculo es que la descripción no coincide con la realidad, por lo que esta sección no tiene que deambular.
